Pardon the lousy picture of him, but that should be enough to allow recognition. Simpson is one of these tenant rep types at TCHC who cannot understand or does not care that he is in a conflict of interest. You cannot represent the interests of the tenants and at the same time be invovled with something created by the landlord. It just does not work that way.
He has been hanging around tenant groups for many years. Especially, he is involved with groups which want to really represent the interests of tenants, in order to inform on them and disrupt them for Evelyn Murialdo and friends at TCHC. He helped wreck the old Cityhomes tenants association. He has disrupted the "THAT" group for years and has now taken it over.
He has been involved with the SOS group, an "astroturf" operation funded by TCHC but run by the "Public Interest Consulting" private company of Sean Meagher and Effie Vlachoyannacos. All that is about is TCHC trying to pressure the provincial government in a very improper way, to give them more money. This money would not help the tenants at all.
But the really disturbing thing is that he is one of the main people in this "Media Action Group" also set up by the "Public Interest" company to silence all negative coverage of TCHC. They have demanded that a Star reporter be fired for reporting on the incompetance of TCHC.
Simpson is another dirty little TCHC tenant toadie who any decent person should shun.
